Operation Community Watch, an outreach program provided by the RTA Police Department, will attend the Fair August 5th-7th from Noon-3:30pm. RTA’s OCW provides identification cards that have a full face picture, name, birthdate, height & weight, hair & eye color with a thumb print on the back of the card. These cards are made for children, teens and at risk adults (those suffering from dementia, Alzheimer’s, etc.) and can be given to any law enforcement agency to help locate lost or abducted persons. This service is provided for free to parents courtesy of RTA Police Officers as a means of giving back to the community they serve.
For the children OCW hands out small giveaways (while supplies last), while giving children an opportunity to interact with Transit Police Officers, learn valuable safety tips, and hear first-hand stories from our team.
