Important Gate Access & Accepted Forms of Currency Changes for 2025

There will be three (3) active gates open during Fair Week, Gates 2 & 3 (off Eastland Road) and Gate 5 (Main Entrance off Bagley Road). Fair Gates have gone cashless in 2025. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online or pay at Gates 2, 3, or 5 using credit cards, debit cards, or digital wallets (such as Apple Pay, Google Wallet, etc.) with no added fees. While Gates 2 and 5 are cashless, cash-to-card kiosks will be available at those gates for guests with cash (convenience fees will apply). 

All 2025 Concessionaires and Vendors will continue to accept cash with most also accepting credit cards; however, not all accept credit cards.

All 2025 Prime Time Carnival Company Midway Ride Ticket Booths will continue to accept cash and all major credit cards including Apple Pay, Venmo, etc.

Friday: Noon to MIDNIGHT
Saturday: 10 AM to MIDNIGHT (Rides open at 10am)
Sunday: Noon to 10:00 PM (Rides open at Noon)

On Tuesday rides will be opening throughout the day as inspections are completed

Commercial Buildings and Junior Fair Building close at 10:00 PM daily.

UNACCOMPANIED MINOR PROTOCOL
  • To be admitted to the Cuyahoga County Fair after 6 pm, all youth under the age of 18 years are required to be accompanied by an adult, sober and competent person aged 21 or older who will supervise the youth while at the Cuyahoga County Fair (such as a parent, legal guardian, relative or other adult). After 6 pm, unattended youths without a chaperone will be denied entry and asked to leave or return with a chaperone.
  • One chaperone may accompany no more than six (6) guests under the age of 18 years of age, per day.
  • One chaperone may accompany no more than six (6) guests under the age of 18 years of age, per day.
  • Proof of age is required. Any fairgoer, including those over 18 years, may be required to show a valid governmental identification for proof of age.
  • The Cuyahoga County Fair and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department reserve the right to remove any fairgoer, of any age, violating any law, rule, or policy. • This policy will be enforced daily.
  • Exceptions or challenges to this policy will be satisfied at the discretion of the Cuyahoga County Fair Board President.
  • Those youth under the age of 18 years with valid fair, vendor, or carnival employee or volunteer credentials will be permitted to enter the fairgrounds without a supervising party.
ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTS?

Opening Day (Tuesday, August 5th) is Discount Day with just a $5 gate admission for the following all day!:

  • Veterans (with ID)
  • Seniors (60 and over)
  • Kids (12 and under)

All promotional tickets are available for purchase in person at any gate (not online) on Tuesday and valid for gate access on Tuesday ONLY.

Children 2 and under, as well as active duty military (with valid ID) are free every day

CAN I BRING MY PET?

Only service animals are allowed at the fairgrounds. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.

The ADA does not classify emotional support animals as service animals.
