For Cuyahoga County Fair Food Walk-Thru, Bretz Concessions LLC will have delicious pizza, pepperoni rolls and frozen cheesecake-on-a-stick.

Beverage offerings will include Pepsi products, sweet tea and bottled water.

Having been a vendor for 30 years at the Cuyahoga County Fair, Bretz Concessions LLC from Canfield Ohio loves the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds! They have participated in various fairs and special events for many years stating they enjoy the excitement of serving families with quality fair food!

There is no family more grateful to the public for supporting locals than the Hart Family specializing in confectionary. During this year’s Fair Food Walk-Thru, they will have available at their concession trailer delicious cinnamon roasted almonds, cashews & pecans. In addition, other tasty treats will include Fresh Baked Strudel and Kettle Corn.

This family-owned business has a factory warehouse and two (2) store locations called Buckeye Chocolate Cafe in both Chardon and Bainbridge, Ohio.

They look forward to being back at this year’s Cuyahoga County Fair (running August 6th-11th) where they have served as concessionaires for over 20 years.

Valley City Sisters Peggy Greene & Suzanne Jelinek are excited to be back as part of the 2024 Cuyahoga County Fair Food Walk-Thru. Their family (4 generations and counting) have served the attendees of the Cuyahoga County Fair for nearly 50 years.

Known for their delicious Beef, Lamb and Chicken Gyros, they are proud to serve concessions at six (6) Northeast Ohio County Fairs & Festivals. Beverage selection will consist of Fountain Pepsi Products and Bottled Water.

The Otterbacher Family is a legacy with County Fair Heritage in all of Ohio. They look forward to kicking off the season for Cuyahoga County Fair Food Walk-Thru.

Serving up the best in fair food favorites, Jasmine Otterbacher will feature Funnel Cakes, Elephant Ears and both Fried Oreos and Fried Buckeyes. Jasmine states: “I have worked in the fair industry my entire life. As soon as my brother and I could look over the counter, we worked for our parents! And before that it was my grandparents.”

While the sandwich trailer reads Italian Sausage, Penny Otterbacher instead will offer up her Philly Sandwiches, (steak and chicken) along with Fried Cheese.

Fifty-Years and counting, there’s no doubt the Otterbacher Family will continue to hand down the concessions and amusements business for many generations to come.

Both Glo Concessions accept cash and credit cards; however an extra charge on credit card transactions will be applicable.

 

Kolar Concessions, LLC

Kolar Concessions selection of Fair Food for the 2024 Cuyahoga County Fair Food Walk-Thru, will be their hand-dipped corn dogs and fresh cut french fries.

Kolar Concessions consist of Chad and wife Carolann. Both coming from multiple generations of concessionaires; Carolann is 4th generation and Chad is 3rd generation. While they are unsure of the exact year their respective families became concessionaires at the annual Cuyahoga County Fair, they do know it was before either of them were born.

Even though they grew up going to all the same fairs, they did not meet until 2012. Now married for ten years, they reside in Valley City with their two children.

Sharing a passion for fairs, the Kolar’s are incredibly proud to have grown their business to 28 food trailers. With that big smile he always has, Chad states, “We strive to create a positive & enjoyable experience to those fairgoers visiting our concession trailers.”

 

Creamalot (Northern American Food Service)

Creamalot Ice Cream has been serving customers since 1962, and they are best known for their creamy smooth soft-serve ice cream with endless flavor combinations. Here are some of the delectable treats you can find:

  • Soft Serve Ice Cream: Creamy, smooth, and available in various flavors.
  • Sundaes: A delightful combination of ice cream, toppings, and sauces.
  • Milkshakes: Thick and indulgent shakes made with their delicious ice cream.
  • Cones: Classic ice cream cones for a quick and satisfying treat.
  • Banana Splits: A nostalgic favorite with scoops of ice cream, bananas, and toppings.
  • Ice Cream Nachos: A delightful combination of ice cream, toppings, and sauces.
  • Dipped Cones: Crispy cones dipped in chocolate or other coatings.

Creamalot was founded in the 1960s with its first store in Cleveland. The company quickly expanded, selling five stores, and adding two ice cream trailers. They took their ice cream parlor on the road, and one of their first fairs was the Cuyahoga County Fair. Creamalot is renowned for its creamy, smooth ice cream and endless varieties of delicious flavors, including Chocolate, Strawberry, Cotton Candy, Blue Goo, and Butterscotch, among others. Our hard-shell chocolate topping with sprinkles is a customer favorite. We continue to develop new flavors and recently launched different sundaes. No ice cream is softer, creamier, and yummier than Creamalot Real Premium Ice Cream.

 

Ohio’s Best Lemonade

A concessionaire for over 35 years, the Biggest Smile on the Fair Midway is Scott Purcell. From Mogadore Ohio, Scott has been a concessionaire/vendor at the Cuyahoga County Fair since 1990.

Otterbacher Bros. Concessions/Amusements

Enjoy the best in Arcade Games during Cuyahoga County Fair Food Walk-Thru brought to you by Ohio’s own Otterbacher Brothers Concessions. Hailing from Seville Ohio, they have been with Cuyahoga County Fair for over 50 years.

 

Otter's Concessions

Jeff & Paulina Otterbacher are familiar faces in the Fair Industry. Providing great food to attendees, they always are there to lend a helping hand for Fair Appearances to promote the fair industry. Although most well-known for their World’s Largest Dog and their Dill Dog, for the Cuyahoga County Fair Food Walk-Thru they will be offering their Italian Sausage Sandwich and the Cleveland Sausage Sandwich (Kielbasa in a bun, french fries, coleslaw, and hot sauce on top) and their Polish Sausage.

Hailing from Litchfield Ohio, they are 3rd generation concessionaires. The Otterbacher Family started with the Cuyahoga County Fair just after 1937.

 

Pierogi Palace (Bush Fairway Concessions)

This concessionaire has been doing fairs around Ohio for over 60 years. Being a favorite that Cuyahoga County Fair attendees come looking for, Pierogi Palace has been in the same space at Cuyahoga County Fair now for over 10 years and has been a concessionaire since the 1970’s.

From Doylestown Ohio, this 4th Generation family-owned & operated business will be serving up a variety of beverages along with what has made them a Fair Favorite of Pierogies, Potato Pancakes, Cabbage and Noodles and Kielbasa.

 

Redmond Concession, LLC

Based in Wooster Ohio, Redmond Concession is part of the esteemed Otterbacher Family that has been a Cuyahoga County Fair staple for a great number of years.

Be sure to stop by during the Fair Food Walk-Thru Weekend where they will be offering the tastiest of treats that include cotton candy, caramel and candy apples and their homemade caramel corn and popcorn.

 

Rosie’s Nachos

“Banana Cream Pie Nachos” – does anything else really need to be said? Since the debut of Rosie’s Nachos in 2020, Rosie and husband Casey have been participating in both Ohio and Florida Fairs. They have been featured on 4 episodes of the Cooking Channels Carnival Eats.
