A rose by any other name is still in our Floral Building, so come check out these thorny flowers all day Thursday and see which red blooms won blue. Exhibits should be brought in the morning of the show starting at 7:30 A.M. Judging will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday.

Surf Rock, Blues

This rock quartet pays homage to  classic rock  artists who paved the way with raw vocals, guitar finesse, deep bass, and crashing hard hitting percussion. Rock blocks within the sets celebrate Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Fleetwood Mac, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. The sets are also laced with  “music smash-ups” ,  tunes that you know and love from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, with a splash of current rock too!

Celebrate CCF at the Saturday Morning Family Dance Party on Saturday, August 12th from 10am-12Noon. Plan to arrive early so your family won’t miss out on the fun. This being a Dance Party, we invite you to show us your moves. Whether you're into the Charleston, Fox Trot, Hustle or Electric Slide, the Fair's the place to be Saturday morning!

On Tuesday (August 8th, 2023), from 1pm-3pm, and on Wednesday and Thursday (August 9th and 10th) from noon-3pm, the Kidwatch Program will be at the County Fair. The mission of Kidwatch is to create Emergency ID cards for children of all ages.  Officers will gather personal information of children (height, weight, DOB, pictures, emergency contact info) from the parents and create an ID card to be used by the parent in case of an emergency. Officers will also interact with the children and families and develop positive relationships.

In 2015 Second Hand Dogs produced their debut LP with career defining tracks that include, The Rain Song, Forever One, Ohio and Aliens Among Us.

For over 12 years, Second Hand Dogs have shared their music with local audiences.

In 2013, Second Hand Dogs were selected as 1 of 10 local bands to play their original music at the Ohio State Fair for Ohio Music Showcase. The band was chosen to perform again in 2014 and 2015.
